A day just for Dad
Won't Grandma be surprised when she logs in this morning and finds TWO posts. This is an update from June, when Grandma and Grandpa got to go to Disney without us :( , (but we hear that as soon as we get to be 42" tall we get to go) Anyway back to a day just for Dad, There is a day in June, called Father's Day; Dad got to pick out what he wanted to do - he spent the morning cutting up trees and then we went to Lake Elmore State Park, it is a really cool lake we discovered last year and the best thing is its really close to home! We had a great day, built some really great sand castles, had creamees and stopped and played mini golf on the way home!

The Star closest to us
The star closest to us has been great lately, making the flowers grow, having warm weather for swimming, making mom's car super hot because she has no air conditioning. this was not the case for April and May, as mentioned in my previous post. This affected my chosen activity for the spring (or was it mom and dad's) Anyway, in the beginning I really didn't get the game and it was often raining.. in the end I started to enjoy it, learned to stay in my position and all about the game. I think that once I really understand how the math statistics relate to what I'm doing - I'm going to love it. Anyway here are a few photos from the Fairfax Orange Volcanoes!

Mud
So we heard that Grandma checks the blog last thing at night and first thing in the morning so we are going to try and get better at keeping her updated with the latest and greatest news from us; because we were not so great about getting on the blogging bandwagon and have now reached the old age of 3 and 6, we have some catching up to do - we thought we would share one of our favorite adventures from this past spring... MUD, we loved to find it everywhere, track it everywhere, play in it, in fact we discovered that the garden is a much better mud pit then our sandbox.. Most of the spring was spent playing the the mud, why you ask - well it rained ALOT, we got over 20 inches of rain in April and May, (most of mine...(Jacob) T-ball games were rained out!) Here is one of our favorite days.. Mom even let us dance in the rain to try and clean off!
My turn
Jacob got to post last time, so now it's my turn! I've had some exciting things going on! This Past sunday I had my 3 1/2 year old birthday party! Now, you might ask? Why a 1/2 birthday party, well my birthday is December 20th, which is right before Christmas, My mom tells me that my great grandpa had a birthday on Christmas and always said he got "gipped", so Mom thought it would be a fun idea to celebrate my birthday halfway though the year. This year I decided on a Dora themed party, I had a hard time deciding between princesses and Dora, and decided that it was time to go on an adventure. The party was great Mom read us an Dora adventure story that was written just for me about the case of the missing rainbow butterfly and then we followed map to find the clues in the story! We had yummy chocolate cake, ice cream and watermelon and I got some really cool presents! Like a YELLOW Bike, princesses castle and an Ariel Costume!

4th of July
Jacob here... We had a Great Vermont Adventure for the 4th of July! We went to Bristol for the parade, Did you know it's the longest running 4th of July parade in Vermont! Check out the photo below of Adrienne enjoying the parade! It took a long time to drive to Bristol..I can't believe Mom used to drive that far every day! After the parade we went to Aunt Nancy's "other" house, Adrienne and I each had a chance to go out in a boat - Adrienne went canoeing with Dad and Aunt Nancy and I got to go really fast in the speed boat. Mom and Dad did some skiing there - and I thought we could only ski in the winter! Seems like they might have forgotten how to summer ski some of the time!
