Ice fishing Adventure

Sorry it's been a while since we posted anything - it's been a quiet winter and we've seen Grandma and Grandpa a lot and since they are the only ones who read the blog... We were suppose to ski this weekend but it was really cold again until this afternoon. This afternoon mom and I went ice fishing with cub scouts - neither of us had been before.
This plane flew right over us and waved hello!

We had lots of flags out on the ice but didn't catch anything.

Here's me fishing

checking to see if there are any fish down there.

Learning how to set the flags, these are fishing poles that stay in the hole by themselves - if a fish bites it, the flag will go up.

Fishing!
We fished way out in the lake - we were in st. albans bay part of lake champlain - mom was nervous - but the ice was over a foot thick - we saw people drive their cars and trucks on it!
