Great American Road Trip

Sorry it's been a while since we posted...
We just got home from our great american road trip! We went on a road trip with mom and dad from st. louis missouri to Alburquerque new mexico!
We are going to write one blog a day - to catch you all up!

Day 1 - October 13, 2012
We flew to St. Louis!  It was a new state for Dad, and us.. Mom had been through the state twice.. on a cross country road trip - once with Aunt Stacey, once with Grandma.

We went right from the airport to the Gateway Arch - actually called the Jefferson memorial for westward expansion.... we met Dad's brother Uncle Tom and his wife Aunt Sue...
We went up the arch.. Mom and Jacob and Adrienne were all a little nervous.. but it turned out ok!

Jacob in the "pod" - the elevator to the top is a little tiny egg that holds 5 people.. it;s like 3 feet by 3 feet by 3 feet - thank goodness for mom it has a window on the side.. otherwise she might have really not been able to go up - the window  made me a little nervous though... - here I am next to the window on the way up.

We made it to the top.. here we are looking out the tiny windows..we learned they couldn't be any bigger otherwise the arch wouldn't work right..
